|||||
Once you get a date for when you will return home, it’s good to start planning.It might seem really simple – "just turn up!" But after the initial thrill wears off, preparation can make a difference. You might think about:
If you have a partner / spouse remember they too will need to make some adjustments prior to your arrival. If you have kids it might be helpful to ask your spouse / partner how the kids' routines have changed while you were away. It will help if you talk and plan together about your returning home. You might also want to think about how you can spend time with your kids and give your partner / spouse some 'downtime'. Remember, they have had constant care of the kids while you have been away. |
